Welcome to the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Fireworks Spectacular mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.
Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular New York City's famously large department store, Macy's, puts on a spectacular Fourth of July display with 14,000 aerial shells which explode from barges positioned all along the east side of the island of Manhattan. The fireworks display is synchronized and choreographed to a musical score.
Showering the East River with a delicious fusion of colors, Macy's celebration is without a doubt the biggest and best party in the city on this hugely popular national holiday. In fact, some cite it as the best fireworks' display in the country.
